Good Form Preview - Saturday Night @ Lords

The Game Plan for Bendigo - with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)

Despite the fact there are some shocking races on tonight's programme, overall it is a fantastic betting card for mine. The first two races should be gimme's @ very short quotes but they will accumulate well when joined by another relative shorty in the penultimate event. The two Money races I've picked up are also pretty golden while the Quads shoudl be fun if we get even a hint of value somewhere along the line.

Best Bets/ All-Up ($70)

Manuka Man (Race 1 no. 5) $1.50
This bloke has class written all over him and while both United Legacy (6) and Magic Moment Lombo (8) are also above average types I think the above pacer will bully his way to the top and prove a shade too good.

Claudys Princess (Race 2 no. 4) $1.40
Group 1-winning filly sho should be unbeaten this campaign. Bad manners are the only thing that can beat her here and back to the mobile start she should be panels too classy for these.

King Rafa (Race 9 no. 2) $1.70
In what looks a woeful race on paper, the above pacer has two big things in his favour, 1) that he'd only have to replicate his very encouraging recent trials effort to win and 2) that his early speed should see him lead, which is an enormous advantage over the 1650m trip @ Bendigo.

The Money Races

Race 1

As mentioned above, I've got Manuka Man (5) leading and winning here with only two silver medal hopes in the form of United Legacy (6) & Magic Moment Lombo (8). They should really comprise the Trifecta but we can make some folding here even if they don't.

5/ 6,8/ 6,8. $60 gets 3000%
5/ 6,8/ 2,4,10. $30 gets 500%
5/ 6,8/ 1,3. $10 gets 250%

Race 5

Maori Time (4) should not have to expend too much petrol to find the front here and if that is the case she will probbaly prove too good. Having said that, Frances Annie (11) has been a revelation this campaign along with the equally consisitent Paris Peperell (10). They are the big guns here and should fight things out but I have made provisions in case one of them makes a mistake.

4/ 10,11/ 10,11. $45 gets 2250%
4/ 10,11/ 1,2,5. $30 gets 500%
10,11/ 4/ 10,11. $10 gets 500%
10,11/ 4/ 1,2,5. $15 gets 250%

The Quads (x4 for $130)

4/ 2,5,9/ 5,6,9/ 2,4,7,10. $72 gets 200%
4/ 2,5,9/ 5,6,9/ 1,6,11. $13.50 gets 50%
10,11/ 2,5,9/ 5,6,9/ 2,4,7,10. $36 gets 50%
10,11/ 2,5,9/ 5,6,9/ 1,6,11. $8.50 gets 15.74%
