These restricted meetings can often be a trap for punters with average horses starting much shorter than they should purely because of lack of opposition, and many of them get rolled, but I can’t see this fellow being beaten as he comes off a cracking second to Real Grit here last start and he will find this race much easier.  Having said that if he gets into silly odds then I’ll be happy to let him go around without me but if the $1.40 I’ve assessed him at or better is available then I think he is worth loading up on.  I’m making him my one go for the night and will throw $400 in his direction, which along with my $100 Quaddie outlined below will take my total spend for the meeting to $500.
