Good Form Preview - Friday @ The Rat

*Inter Dominion Heat Night Game Plan will be available from 3pm tomorrow.
The Game Plan for Ballarat – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
There’s no other way of putting this other than saying that I am pumped!! In fact, the only problem we have tonight is not getting too over-excited and trying to bet in every single race. To that end, I have abandoned the concept of Best Bets or All-Ups even though I feel there are plenty of very likely winners on the programme in preference for a quartet of Money Races and a host of Quads and if we don’t end on top I will be completely flabbergasted.

The Money Races
Race 2
This is probably the most speculative of our four Money Races which is why it has the smallest outlay but it also could yield the biggest return. In short, I have a MASSIVE opinion of Josephine Jones (6) and wouldn’t be one bit surprised if she develops into one of Australia’s finest trotting mares. It should be little surprise then to hear that I think she’ll beat this lot with ordinary luck and given I rate Dawn Tears (5) a clear second pick the Tricks below are fairly self-explanatory.
6/ 5/ 1,2,3,7,8. $30 gets 600%
6/ 1,2,3,7,8/ 5. $10 gets 200$

Race 5
There are three big guns engaged here; Unico Crown (1), Glenferrie Typhoon (4) and Quite A Moment (11). I am taking a punt by leaving Quite A Moment (11) out of winning calculations due to the 30m handicap while also assuming that Unico Crown (1) is the one to beat courtesy of his ultra-professional manners and ideal draw.
1/ 4/ 11. $30 gets 3000%
1/ 4/ 2,10,12. $20 gets 666.67%
1/ 11/ 4. $10 gets 1000%
4/ 1/ 11. $10 gets 1000%
4/ 11/ 1. $4 gets 400%
4/ 1/ 2,10,12. $6 gets 200%
Race 7
Flaming Flutter (12) is a slightly frustrating horse because at times you’d swear black and blue he’s headed to the top then he’ll lose what he should have won at his very next start. He draws deplorably here but if he brings his A-game he will win for sure while Manuka Man (2), Glenferrie EJ (6) and Mister Livan (10) are the only ones who can roll him and the Tontine Pacers Series’ other true big guns.
12/ 2,6,10/ 2,6,10. $36 gets 600%
12/ 2,6,10/ 1,3,7,8. $24 gets 200%
2,6,10/ 12/ 2,6,10. $12 gets 200%
2,6,10/ 12/ 1,3,7,8. $8 gets 75%
Race 8
Claudys Princess (8) in a Group 1 winner who remains somewhat untapped and if her first-up win is anything to go by she will beat this lot tonight. If she is to be rolled it will be through bad manners or a monster display from either Guiltless (3) or Miracle (7). Those three are the stars engaged and should control the race.
8/ 3,7/ 3,7. $24 gets 1200%
8/ 3,7/ 1,5,6. $18 gets 300%
3,7/ 8/ 3,7. $5 gets 250%
3,7/ 8/ 1,5,6. $3 gets 50%
The Quads (x7)
4/ 1/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 12. $55 gets 1100%
4/ 1/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 2,6,10. $60 gets 400%
4/ 4,11/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 12. $40 gets 400%
1,7/ 1/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 12. $40 gets 400%
4/ 4,11/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 2,6,10. $30 gets 50%
1,7/ 1/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 2,6,10. $15 gets 50%
1,7/ 4,11/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 12. $10 gets 50%

Good Form Preview - Thursday Night @ Bendigo

The Game Plan for Bendigo with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).
Best Bet ($100 Win)
(Race 7 No.11 It Is Billy)
This bloke is clearly the class runner of the field here, he was competitive behind the likes of Youranut and Restrepo last preparation, he is very versatile and can make his own luck in his races and I think he will be much too good today first up despite the fact he has drawn the outside of the second row.
Best Value ($50 Each Way)
(Race 4 No.1 Uroc Mman)
This guy showed tremendous speed in his win to cross and lead with ease from his wide draw first up in a heat of this final. He should hold the lead here again from the gun draw and in an open race he looks a great chance of making it back to back wins with a repeat of his last start performance.
(Race 6 No.11 The Gingerbreadman)
This bloke finally put in all together last start at Geelong where he came from off the speed to score impressively against good opposition. He had showed glimpses of this ability at his previous starts but hadn’t been able to put it all together before. I think he will take great benefit confidence wise from that win and a repeat of his last start performance will ensure he is very hard to beat tonight.
Quaddies (x2)
1,3,5,8,9/ 3,5,8,11,13/ 1,3,4,11/ 11 $70 gets 70%
1,3,5,8,9/ 3,5,8,11,13/ 1,3,4,11/ 2,7 $30 gets 15%

Good Form Preview - Kilmore @ Tabcorp Park Melton

The Game Plan for Kilmore @ Tabcorp Park Melton with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).
Best Bets ($100 All Up Win)
(Race 2 No.10 The Muse) $2.25
This mare has been placed in all five of her starts to date but hasn’t yet been able to break through for a win. She gets another chance today to break through against pretty moderate opposition and she looks hard to beat despite the second row draw.
(Race 5 No.8 Beau Romulus) $2
This guy was very good at Cobram last start where he worked to the lead and ran good time and scored a comfortable win. He has a class edge on his rivals today and looks hard to beat despite the fact that he may need to drift a fair way back in the early stages to get away from the pegs from his inside second row draw.
Best Value ($50 Win)
(Race 4 No.8 Hurricane Stride) $4.50
This colt put in a really promising performance last start at Warragul where he stuck on well after coming wide to claim third behind some handy pacers. He should get a lovely trail behind likely favourite FRANKIE VALLEY (1) here and he will be very hard to hold out via the sprint lane in the straight.
Best Roughie ($15W/$35P)
(Race 8 No.2 Wah Keen) $11
This young trotter has shown a bit in his short career and looks as though he will be suited by the rise in distance here. He bumps into some talented rivals but from the good draw he should settle in a forward spot and he is likely to go around at a double figure price and is worth an each way ticket.
Quaddies (x2)
1,8,9/ 8/ 2,3,5,6/ 4,7,9 $80 gets 222.22%
1,8,9/ 5/ 2,3,5,6/ 4,7,9 $20 gets 55.56%

Good Form Preview - Wednesday Night @ Shepparton

The Game Plan for Shepparton with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).

Best Bets ($100 Win)
(Race 2 No.12 Star Style)
This mare is flying at the moment and broke through for an overdue win at Swan Hill last start, where she blew here rivals away in quick time after having everything fall into place in transit. She has to come off a 30m handicap tonight which is always tough but the majority of her rivals are racing below their best and if she can reproduce her last start performance she will be extremely hard to hold off.
(Race 5 No.7 Nimble Jack)
I never thought I would be tipping this bloke as a best bet but it’s hard to ignore how well he has been going recently. His win from the breeze at Kilmore last start against very good opposition was huge. I expect him to find that same spot tonight and control the pace and be winning again.
Best Value ($50 EachWay)
(Race 8 No.1 Statelyness)
This mare stuck on really well at Cobram last start after being left exposed a fair way from home over the middle distance. I expect her to hold the lead here tonight from the pole draw over the sprint trip and I think her rivals will find it very difficult to reel her in.
Money Race
Race 4 (Flexi First 4’s) $50
1,7,8/ 1,7,8/ 1,7,8/ 2,3,4,5 $30 gets 125%
1,7,8/ 1,7,8/ 2,3,4,5/ 1,7,8 $20 gets 83.33%
Quaddies (x4)
1,7,8/ 7/ 1,2/ 1,2,4,7,8 $40 gets 125%
1,7,8/ 6/ 1,2/ 1,2,4,7,8 $10 gets 33.33%
1,7,8/ 7/ 4,8,7,10/ 1,2,4,7,8 $40 gets 66.66%
1,7,8/ 6/ 4,8,7,10/ 1,2,4,7,8 $10 gets 16.67%

Good Form Preview - Wednesday Geelong @ Tabcorp Park Melton

The Game Plan for Geelong @ Tabcorp Park Melton with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).
Best Bets ($100 Win)
(Race 5 No.10 Lems Cameo) $2.50
This mare hasn’t finished further back than second in five starts since arriving in Australia from NZ. She handles the stand start very well and should have little trouble overcoming the 10m handicap today and she looks well placed to win again.
(Race 8 No.5 Jay Dee Zed) $2.40
This guys performance on debut at Kilmore was full of merit, after showing early speed he ended up having to face the breeze for the majority of the race but that didn’t stop him really attacking the line in the straight to finish a close up second. He should find the lead today and from there be extremely hard to run down.
Best Value
(Race 6 No.8 Mister Scorcher) $8 ($25 Each Way)
This guy resumed with a super performance at Kilmore recently where he looked the winner in the lane after working in the breeze but was caught in the shadows of the post. He should take a lot of benefit from that run and if he begins like he did last start he shouldn’t have too much trouble overcoming his 30m handicap over 2670m trip and figuring in the finish.
Quaddie
2, 3, 5, 6, 8 / 10, 12 / 4, 5, 8, 9 / 2, 5, 6, 7 $100 gets 62.50%
